MORE TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Waterproofing of material
the resistance of a fabric to water pressure is measured in millimetres of water depth (test based on ISO 811). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. Material that is 2,000mm waterproof therefore resists the pressure of 2,000mm of water (which corresponds roughly to a one hour shower).
Waterproofing of garment
NOVADRY® technology: This garment has been tested in a shower with 60 litres of water per square metre per hour for 2 hours. This test simulates the conditions of average rainfall in the mountains. For further information visit Novadry.com.
Breathability of material
to determine whether a material is breathable, its resistance to evaporation is measured in terms of RET (test based on ISO 11092). The lower its resistance, the more water vapour generated by the body during exercise the fabric allows to escape, hence the more breathable the fabric. For example: RET <9 = extremely breathable fabric. If RET is >9 but <12 = highly breathable fabric. If RET is >12 but <20 = breathable fabric. If RET> 20 = scarcely or non-breathable fabric.
Hood
adjustable by elastic cord + toggles.
